For those of you that keep up with my Gear Bear Adventures you may remember me mentioning that I was going to be traveling to Texas the middle of November with a dear friend of Paula's.
This isn't any thing out of the ordinary, I have been invited along with many friends to share in their advenuturs. I can't wait to get a chance to write about what's going on in southern TX.
It seems that Nora has sent a message via Facebook to Paula, this morning and kind of gave her a quick synopses of our adventures so far. Nora has been taking photos so we'll have some documentation and as long as it doesn't get me thrown in jail I'll post them a.s.a.p.
good morning, gear bear is having the adventure of his life.....he was down on the border and wanted to go visit his sister, i told him he could not as i was responsible for him. he proceeded to head for the bridge and got shot at! he has eaten at a Mexican restaurant at the border and tried to get a job as a cook, he has now ownership of a serape that he wears all of time......he thinks he's a Mexican bear now. he had coffee at Starbucks and went dumpster diving when he saw someone throw away half of a scone. he also tried to make advances to a female bear.....her father accosted him with a long rifle. he also rode a bull.....i have captured all of this on film.....he can be a little smart ass when he wants to be. luke is tallking him into the greatest adventure of his life and he is thinking about it.....he may be headed to afghanistan!!!!!!
